If you live in the U.S., you may be eligible for a federal loan. It is recommended that you complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. The application process takes about 30 minutes to complete. You will need the University of Miami School Codes:

These loans are funded by the government and have an annual maximum of the cost of attendance minus other student aid. There is no assumed grace period. However, you can contact the lender to request one. Good credit history or no credit history is required (no delinquent accounts or bankruptcy). The repayment period is 10 to 25 years (options available).
You can apply on the FAFSA website, with a Master Promissory Note (MPN) - in which you promise to repay your loan (approximately 30 minutes). You will also need to complete the direct PLUS Application (approximately 20 minutes).
