Our Doctor of Education in Applied Learning Sciences equips graduates with the skills needed to revise and improve the design of traditional and non-traditional learning environments. Students will learn how to: The Applied Learning Sciences doctoral degree culminates in a project rather than a dissertation. The project has a practical application, and students often use the opportunity to address a local issue in their community. You can choose to collaborate with other students and can submit projects in multimedia formats as well as in your native language, as supported by University faculty. Eligible applicants may not be required to submit GRE and GMAT test results. Accepted students will be expected to complete two one-week residencies at the University of Miami campus in Coral Gables, Florida.
The Doctor of Education in Applied Learning Sciences extends beyond traditional educational settings. You will graduate from the Applied Learning Sciences program with a firm understanding of learning, both within formal and informal settings, ready to pursue training roles in a range of industries.
